- Mary-Jane Archer Review added: 2018.06.25★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Pleasantly greeted by reception staff. Offered an upgraded room but did not take it. We were given a discount card for the car park at Arundel Gate . The room was very clean and plenty big enough for the 1 night we were staying. Bathroom was well equipped. In the bedroom if you wanted drinks for the fridge you had to order and pay - not even free soft drinks which I did get the previous week in a Mercure hotel in Paris replenished every day of a 4 night stay. Obviously I would not expect alcoholic drinks in the room for free but water at least would be good. We visited the Champagne Bar which had table service which was good. The bar, restaurant, and reception are in a large glass atrium which is very nice. Breakfast was the usual pastries, fruit, and cooked food. Staff were efficient at seating people as the hotel was busy, clearing crockery away from empty tables speedily. Overall a good stay.
