- Alan Myers Review added: 2018.01.21★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Absolutely abysmal. My daughter (Samantha Fenwick (nee Myers)) has just left a bad review too, which I 100% agree with. The lack of compassion shown in such sad and distressing circumstances should amply illustrate to anyone why they should think twice about using this Funeral Director. It has left my family distraught and unable to carry out their Mothers last wishes. All because of red-tape and an unwillingness to be flexible. Lunt will only release the ashes to the person who engaged them to perform the funeral, despite the fact we, as a family, paid for the funeral. The person who signed the engagement document does not appear to be contactable, therefore we are in a state of limbo. The family paid for the funeral, the signatory did not contribute one cent and doesn't appear interested in carrying out the last wishes of the deceased. Lunts lack of co-operation, despite our pleas and letters from our solicitor is simply beyond poor taste. My advice. Avoid at all costs.
